This Heavily Built Wrought Iron Coat Rack is Constructed From Solid 5/8" Square Steel in a Scroll Design With Fish Tail Ends. It is Finished With Teutonic Collars. The 5/8" Wide Hooks are Welded to 1/4" X 1 1/2" Steel Bar. It is Very Stout Weighing in at 20 Pounds. Long Lasting Powder Coat Finish. Handmade in the USA.     NAMESAKE:
    The Ghost Town of Rhyolite
    County of Nye, Nevada
    The town of Rhyolite came about as the result of a gold strike in 1904, by Shorty Harris and Ed Cross in the Bullfrog Mountains west of Death Valley.   One of the towns that sprang up after the strike was called Rhyolite, named for the area's unique volcanic, rock-and-sand compound. Rhyolite grew as long as the gold held out, from 1905 through 1910. By 1919, Rhyolite was a deserted ghost town.
